Our "Shed" began at a public meeting in August 2012 under the auspices of the Woodford Lions Club. The first formal meeting of the Shed was on 3rd September 2012 with a membership of 23 persons on the books.
Since that time we have assembled for a morning of wood turning and leatherwork at a private backyard shed, generally on a weekly basis. Several metalworking sessions have also been held. Once a month a formal meeting is held on a weekday afternoon followed by a ''bit of a barby'' sausage sizzle.
Access to our temporary central home was officially made available at a function on 24th February 2013 when we entered into a lease arrangement with Australian Narrow Gauge Railway Museum Society (ANGRMS).
Our permanent Home Site will be on land behind our temporary home and construction work is likely to be underway before the end of 2014.
